Low mist blows in upon wild Western gales.
A taste of the great Atlantic permeates all beings within the ecology today.
The air has become redolent with memories of ancient shipwrecks and giants of the deep.
This is the most ancient and feral of scents. One that predates this terrestrial life out of the great oceans.
All around the moisture drips from petal and leaf toward the expectant soil.
It is an inward and downward facing day.
For a brief moment, all life seems drawn within and the intense stillness is palpable.
