Here in Facinas the dews appear when the wind is from the west. This poniente carries moist Atlantic air and the crisp tang of the sea.
In the summer it’s cooling airs being relief to the ecology and in the winter it bears the rains which bring life to this place.
The absence of dew, particularly outside of the summer months, tells of easterly winds. This is the Levante which brings dry air from the Mediterranean and Africa.
It is often dust laden and powerful. Sometimes even destructive.
This simple thing, absence or presence of dew tells us so much.
