Surrounding them was the abundance of grace; water, food, shelter and medicine.
Here was a natural richness of resource and spirit. It was a high point in our sapient history.
The savage was not yet born, they came in the wake of forged iron and brutal mills, rather these people were free and untamed in their wildness.
The great forgetting had not yet begun and here in these rocks, the memories and guiding hands of our forebears linger, offered freely for all who wish to listen.
