Becoming aquatinted with the life of my new home.
It’s the first day and my two horses and I get to know each other.
They have lived here peacefully for many years, blind old Pegasus and her daughter, who guides her mother through the maze of wild olives.
Over the coming months our relationship will deepen and they will help me learn the ways of this place.
For now I sit back and watch them as the sun sets, running free in the wilds, eating and drinking from their native ecology.
In time many children, families and adults will follow the horse trails as they too are released back into the wild in this beautiful place.
