This great geologic formation is not fixed, it is a sinuous wave breaking over the Dehesa.
There is an undeniable aliveness to it, after all do we not call this a rock face?
It is emblazoned with a feral graffiti, the signature of hidden minerals that lie deep within its ochreous soul.
From behind this dripping warpaint a sentience sits, pondering with a wildly ancient mind the quickness of biological life that surrounds it.
When sitting with such dynamic geology, it is clear that time itself is not fixed, it is an adaptive and a relative convenience of our sapient kind.
As for this rock, it echoes back to me the word, now, as it sits Buddha like upon the mountain.
