Valleys, mountains and sinuous ridges populate this world in miniature.
They are created by the same forces that raised the Himalayas and built the continents.
In truth the surface of the earth is as plastic as the water in this mountain pool. It reacts in the same way to energy flowing over and beneath it.
Indeed the same can be said for everything in this universe.
