Source: 30dB.com – Ryan%20Zinke-vs-Scott%20Pruitt
The crowd online seems to think nearly any other commanders would be better than Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt. Both have expressed doubts about global warming and have been tied to the interests of Big Oil in the past, and now they and their policies have become deeply unpopular. Zinke has been slammed by both the media and by members of Congress for plotting to relocate hundreds of key environmental officials to posts away from Washington, as well as drawing up an organizational overhaul many have called unnecessary. Pruitt, on the other hand, put a spin on rising global temperatures earlier this month by claiming that, historically, warmer periods have been good for mankind. Scientists quickly rebuffed that claim, with Penn State atmospheric sciences Professor Michael Mann telling USA Today that Pruitt was going through the “stages of denial” when it comes to climate change. What’s undeniable is where the pair stands when you measure digital opinion: Zinke gets only 33 percent positive sentiments on 30dB; Pruitt does slightly better at 36 percent. –Hugo Guzman
