This is where we sit and allow nature to find us, where wild teas are made and wood is carved.
From here we set out across the meadows, following the cunning spoor of animal and listening to the great conversation of the birds.
Reaching out with all our senses we feel what is edible, medicinal and poisonous.
In this way we become animal and the veils fall away, the myth of disconnection dissolves like morning mist.
Moving through and with nature we rediscover our participative relationship with the wild.
It is then that our aboriginal souls burn, rekindled by the touch of Gaia.
As we sit by the fire, drinking sweet living water and eating sharp wild herbs, there comes a realisation that, here, now, we have everything that we ever need.
And that, should we allow it, all is free and owned by no one.
There is great liberation to be found in the wild places.
