Chris Pleines, expert and founder of datingscout.com, commented:
It is interesting to observe the great geographical divide when it comes to Christmas rom-coms in America. With usual themes of warmth and togetherness, this type of film might resonate more with residents from colder regions, since they are familiar with the snow-covered landscapes and coziness aspects usually portrayed. But even with some states showing more interest in holiday romantic comedies, there is no doubt that Christmas movies hold a dear place in Americans’ hearts.
