It’s easy to give advice, but can we apply it to ourselves?
bobbt in response to Dale, Jr. and the Cost of Manning Up:
“Push through the pain” Yep,that’s how it was when I was playing sports growing up as a kid. Playing football, if you passed out or got knocked out, they’d come on the field and put ‘smelling salts’ under your nose. If that brought you to, the coach would ask you “How many fingers am I holding up?” ( Hint, the answer was ALWAYS 2!) You’d insist you were ok,and they’d leave you in. This way has stuck with me my whole life so even though what you and Junior say makes sense and I’d definitely apply it to my son, it’s hard applying it to myself.

You know what’s interesting. We at #GMPSports ran a “Sports Explained” post on Football today, to have some fun. It includes a terrific “Sports Goofy” explanation of college football. But after watching, I just thought of this alternative title:
‘Football Players Even Play w/Concussions In Disney Cartoons from 1944’
