Creative Visualization and “Manifestation” — Fact or Fiction?

I believe in the power of creative visualization, but I don’t believe that there’s any magic in it.

Whatever magic there is in it, we supply it ourselves, through the power of sustained attention and focused thought.

We can create astounding results, surmount formidable obstacles, and achieve phenomenal success through the power of our minds (and then our hands!), but we have to see it first.

The great plastic surgeon and author Dr. Maxwell Maltz called this place the “theater of the mind,” and he made sure to re-enter that place every single day and vividly imagine the results he wanted to create in his life.

As an aside, his book, Psycho-Cybernetics is PHENOMENAL, and it’s a book that I recommend to damn-near everybody. I’ve also listened to his two follow-up audiobooks, Zero Resistance Selling, and Zero Resistance Living, and I highly recommend those as well.

The point, though, is that the steps are clear and simple:

See It.
Believe It.
Work For It.
Eventually Get It.

Honestly couldn’t get much simpler than that.

No “magic” to it, or “manifesting,” or “cosmic forces” or anything like that, unless you find those terms helpful, in which case go for it.

As for me, one of the goals I’ve been seeing inside the theater of my mind is this new (well, new to me haha) 2010 Lamborghini Gallardo that will replace the 2002 Porsche Boxster I drive now.

My new Lamborghini is also much less expensive than you might think: just $150,000CAD, give or take, inclusive of taxes and insurance, etc. The way I see it, and the way my online business revenue streams are set up, it’s easily achievable with this breakdown:

Monthly Payments: $4,000

Newsletter Revenue: $1,000/Month

Private Coaching Revenue: $1,000/Month

YouTube Revenue: $1,000/Month

Medium Revenue: $1,000/Month

That’s literally it, and my new Lamborghini is sitting in my driveway. I’m already closer than halfway there! Can you see how INSANELY…POSSIBLE that is?! And yeah I mean it’s just a car, but damn it, I want one.

So I’m going to work for one. For me, because it’s MY goal, and no one else’s.

I’m going to create the conditions for even more success in my life, until I’m at the revenue level where my monthly business revenue more than covers the payments and I’m not losing sleep thinking about whether or not I’ll be able to keep the car.

Your goals are closer than you think as well. You just have to see them, believe in them, work for them, and keep reinforcing those ideas of success and fulfillment and inner worth inside the theater of your mind for as long as it takes. You can do it. I believe in you.

It’s obviously a lot harder than sitting around meditating all day, but your goals are your goals because they speak to you. And maybe you won’t end up receiving exactly what you’ve creatively visualized inside the theater of your mind, but if you keep putting one foot in front of the other, keep showing up, and refusing to quit, you’re going to get somewhere great.
