After entering 1,000 competitions, one man tells if it was worth it.
As a 12-year old boy, Andrew Lloyd pranked neighbors with surprise meal deliveries, forgot about competitions he’d entered out of mischief and generally did the opposite of what his parents asked. In the midst of his antics, he was surprised to learn he had won something from Nickelodeon. Now 22, Lloyd decided to try his hand at competitions again, this time entering 1,000 of them. The prizes ranged from tickets to various events to free food and movies to a pint of milk. He entered by phone, Internet and mail, and in the end shares if the benefits outweighed the energy and money exerted.
