The visible threads of an ecology reach across this Andalucian river.
–––
The writhing twisted roots of the Alder link luminous air, flowing river, and the mysterious underworld of the soil.
Above them, the creeping tendrils of vine and clematis lovingly embrace all that they touch. Every tree branch is covered with a thousand lovers knots, tied in a pledge of undying love and sylvan fidelity.
Reaching out across this river, the radiating web of the spider catches the evening light whilst the moving waters below seem to mirror its form.
Suddenly all life is in motion responding to the caress of an Atlantic breeze and all the actors in this ecology cast golden light over each and every living surface.
Everything here is connected, there is no other, just a rich interwoven dance of life playing out in front of my eyes.
