Michael Burnstein shares what it means to him to “worship the feminine”.
A few years ago, I associated “worshipping the feminine” as something talked about by balding men with pony tales, a tie died t-shirt and dangly earrings. Their balls were firmly gripped in their Mother’s hands, and this was their last chance to pick up a woman. They were even successful sometimes making my judgement stronger.
Today, I truly love worshipping the feminine. And I don’t just mean appreciating a beautiful woman who walks by. In fact, I don’t actually mean women.
For me worshipping the feminine, is loving the beauty that is here, loving the spontaneity that happens, loving creativity and its source. As a straight masculine man, I find an abundance of Delicious Feminine coming from within my woman.
When I am with her, nothing but worship makes sense. Bowing down, becoming present to HER, is as natural and divine as breathing in life. Finding this connection has changed my life. No turning back…why would I want to?
Am I worshipping my woman? Perhaps. I love her ability to amplify this in to my world. To open and glow with beauty that flows through her. And at some point this is no longer her, no longer separate from me, no longer something or someone I am “worshipping”.
It is simply love. Words don’t have a chance of describing this.
I believe our world does Worship the Feminine. Unfortunately this is often from the most shadowy of places. Sadly, many men have no problem seeing beauty in cliche airbrushed models selling soon-to-be-obsolescent crap. And more sadly, these same men are often not willing to see beauty in their wife, sister or mother, let alone in other men, a rose, or this planet.
We are shifting. Growing. Evolving. I choose to evolve into this presence, this awareness, this worship of the feminine. I believe I am one of many. Whether we choose to or not, evolution happens. The question is, now that we have the option, will it be conscious?
