Does your vision cover every area of your life (spiritual, relational, physical, social, mental, financial and professional)? If you answered no to these questions, you have some work to do.
Unfortunately, many men don’t live from a clear vision. They live life like a football coach who tries to lead a team without a playbook. Because he does not lead with a clear vision for the team, he works from assumptions and guesswork.
Many men today operate in the same manner; they stumble through life allowing circumstances, events, and other individuals to determine their destiny. They often opt for mediocrity or the status quo, instead of living the more abundant life.
True success begins with a vision that supports every area of life. You must know where you are headed to live life at maximum capacity. Vision is a powerful motivator to move you into consistent action.
When you commit to living your vision, don’t automatically think everyone that is close to you will support your efforts. Don’t think that you are not going to encounter struggles. The truth is your life may get more chaotic.
Things that once worked may stop working. That doesn’t mean you abandon your vision or walk away from commitments. Don’t throw in the towel too early. You may be closer than you think in realizing your unique vision.
No matter where you are or what happened in your life, you have a unique vision that wants to live through you. Stop basing your life on what others may think or say or what happened in the past.
Understand that your vision grows and changes over time. What is right for you now may develop into something different in a few years. Being clear on what is deeply important to you and pursuing it passionately will help you grow and develop into the person you are destined to be.
As you tirelessly work on becoming a better person each day, you will eventually find yourself ready and prepared for the highest version of your vision. It is an amazing journey!
“The most pathetic person in the world is someone who has sight, but has no vision.” Helen Keller
