Hat tip to Sociological Images. As always, slow connections might not want to go below the cut.
In my mind, “princess” is one of the options for what the little boy could be wishing for. I know that’s probably not the intent but shut up and let me have my dreams.

Because girls don’t rock and boys don’t dance, apparently. There’s also some weird gendered dichotomy between the boy exploring and the girl creating, too. I’m thinking of the “art is for girls!” sort of idea and the general social pressure that boys are supposed to run wild while “good girls” stay home.
Women are foxes. Men are geeks. I mean, duh, because women can’t be intelligent and men definitely can’t be beautiful.
Remind me again why your promotional tie-in for the Olympics proposing an Olympic event for people who clean the house is called the “Mommy Games”? Do men not clean the house? Are they physically incapable of it?
Real women are invited to share their vacuum stories! Because, silly, MEN don’t know how to operate a vacuum. Cleaning is too difficult for their little manbrains, after all.
And a congratulations to Eco Me, for including both men and women on the bottles for their cleaning supplies. Man, next time I need some more laundry soap, I’m definitely going to buy these products. Eco-friendly AND anti-sexist! The perfect combination.
I am charmed at the idea of an all purpose cleaner named “Dave” or “Bill.”
