How often do you have an important meeting, big event, or date that you want to go well? The same applies to a job interview or progress report meeting with your child’s teacher. For most of us these meetings and events can be somewhat stressful. We are more prone to stress because we don’t know what to expect. There’s a way to take some of the stress away from the situation and make you feel more at ease. I’ve been using visualization for years.
When you have already visualized where you are going and what you are doing, you become more mentally prepared. This is much like how having been somewhere before makes us feel more at ease because we already have knowledge of where we are and we feel more comfortable.
