It is important to work at your chosen craft in all ways and genres, and especially in your late years, to keep breathing apace with it all, by recording the best efforts extended, hoping for good results that bring acceptances and most comforting degrees of joy.
So, I illuminate this entry with just-past October’s book submissions, keeping such measure in hand.
These submissions included the following:
Valor’s Commission
(short military fiction);
The Salt of This Earth, This Pinch in Time
(poetry);
Death of the Python Receiver
(novel);
Saturday’s Selections for the Week
(poetry);
Awed Librettos for Lovers
(poetry);
Back Home in Saugus
(short fiction and poetry);
and
Murder Down Canada Way
(novel).
To which I must add the following manuscript submitted on 11/4/18, not far out of October, Out of the Universe Endlessly Calling, 207 pages, 59,000 words, just to keep pace with myself.
Aim and goal is the effort in every game, and this too is a game, you versus them, and may the best man win: all that we writers want is readers.
Tell them to get ready.
