This Is the Sign You’ve Been Looking For

I don’t know who else needs to read this today, but I needed it and so I’m writing it — for you and me.

You are going to make it.

As long as you’re alive, you have a chance — and the choice — to turn your life around. You have a choice to either cower and give up in defeat, or keep going and find your way.

It may sometimes feel like life is targeting you and hiding the best of itself from you. But on the contrary, it’s beckoning, trying to get your attention, and many times that comes in the way of hardships and challenges.

These challenges often come with some unwanted guests such as self-doubt, worry, and the blues. When these guests invade your space and you feel their unwelcome presence, it’s a sign that not only are you alive, but that hope is still alive in you. It’s not the time to stop, rather, that’s when you dig in your heels and say to life, ‘I’m not giving up, I’m doing this’.

If you refuse to give up, you will make it.

You will make it to where you want to be, to the life of your dreams — a life where you are fulfilled and joyful.

Better days are ahead. Don’t miss out on them just because today seems a little or maybe a lot bleak. You owe it to yourself not to deprive yourself of what your future holds.

If you stop now, right in the middle of your story, you will never know what could have been.

I know that life can be hard and daunting, but guess what? You were born for this. You were born with the capacity for triumph, the strength to transcend anything and come out victorious.

I know you have what it takes, even when the circumstances of your life try to convince you otherwise. Don’t believe them. Instead, believe the quiet echoes in your heart whispering, ‘You’ve got this.’
