“Donald Trump, you are asking Americans to trust you with our future. Let me ask you: Have you even read the US Constitution? I will gladly lend you my copy. In this document, look for the words liberty and equal protection of law.”
– Khizr Khan

Incredibly, Donald Trump is kicking people out of his political rallies for holding up copies of the U.S. Constitution. Trump supporters are viciously booing protesters for holding up copies of our U.S. Constitution.
We stand with Khizr Khan.
We stand with America.
Whether Democrat, Republican, or Independent, we stand with the Constitution.
In response, we are initiating a social media campaign to support our country.
We are collecting pictures of people holding up the U.S. Constitution and will be sharing them on social media with the following tag lines:
To submit YOUR picture, please grab a pocket Constitution, take a photo of you holding it, overlay one of the above hashtags or tag lines and either Tweet it or post it to Facebook or Instagram and tag @GoodMenProject. If you can’t, you can email it to [email protected] and we will post it!

We believe that Donald Trump is a racist, sexist, bigoted, narcissistic, fascist, which goes directly against everything we support at The Good Men Project.
We also believe that, on his bad days, he poses an existential threat to the US and possibly humanity.
Do you believe that too?
Join our weekly conference calls where a like-minded group of people talk about strategies to defeat him. You will walk away with community, networking, skills, ideas—-and a greater connection to The Good Men Project mission.
Calls are held Wednesday evenings 8 pm EST, 5 pm PST.
To get dial in information, first join The Good Men Project as a Premium Member. $5 does it, and you’ll get benefits for an entire year.
Then, RSVP here.

“My” Constitution places limits on government. I’m with Johnson and Weld.
“My” Constitution places limits on the power and scope of government. Will either Trump or HRC abide by those limits?
Problem is our constitution is under attack by those now in power with actions like president Obama just took in signing the trespass bill that criminalizes protest in any venue under secret service protection which now means all political events
Barbara, I’d encourage you to read the following article on the Trespass Bill: http://www.snopes.com/politics/crime/restricted.asp
And either way, I’m not sure that supporting Donald Trump — if you are — is the best way to defend the Constitution. In my experience of following the election cycle, Trump seems to have little understanding of its laws, safeguards, and protections.
The way I see it, Trump is tapping into many people’s anger and resentment in a meaningful way. The problem is, he’s offering little to nothing in terms of meaningful policies or programs that have the slightest chance of improving our country’s condition.
“We believe that Donald Trump is a racist, sexist, bigoted, narcissistic, fascist, which goes directly against everything we support at The Good Men Project.” I see this same statement made on every Left leaning site i visit, yet no supporting evidence. The usual retorts are, Racist = hating Mexicans / Islamist – when he has only mentioned illegal immigration, and a religion is not a race. Sexist = calling individual women ‘hateful names / using gender slurs’ – so what he is not going around saying ALL women are *insert slur* he is responding / attacking individuals Bigoted = Islamophobia… Read more »
Levi, thanks for the note. I really wanted to reply to your message because of your Theodore Roosevelt comment. I love TR. There’s often, in my mind, a fine line between conviction and narcissism. Someone who’s convicted about something is willing to push the limits in order to do the right thing (in his or her mind). Someone who’s a narcissist is willing to do whatever is the right thing for him or her, regardless of the consequences for anyone or anything else. Narcissists lack a moral grounding. There are a few points of Trump’s views that I’m open to.… Read more »
Sorry I missed the call today, would have been interesting to have heard all of this “Donald Trump is a racist, sexist, bigoted, narcissistic, fascist, which goes directly against everything we support at The Good Men Project. And you don’t see Hillary as a liar, a women who can’t be trusted, who not too long ago blatantly opposed gay marriage? You don’t see Hillary as a self service hypocrite who lied about Benghazi and pretty much told the families who lost their loved ones that THEY were liars? You see her as compassionate toward the “working class” like the coal… Read more »
Hi Tom, You would of course be welcome on our weekly call today. Hillary has been cleared of wrongdoing multiple times for most, if not all, of the points you make. Criticisms of Hillary most often focus on the distant past—or criticisms of her will pull out one piece of political policy when she has spent a lifetime in politics. With Trump, it’s difficult to criticize his political policy history because he hasn’t been in politics. For Trump, we are talking about what he himself is doing, in his campaign, every day. The here and now, and what can be… Read more »
Hi Lisa. Being cleared, no. You’re right, she hasn’t been charged but that doesn’t mean she’s been cleared. I understand and believe that it’s fine to bring out issues about Trump, I read about them all the time but what bothers me is that complete denial of Hillary’s short comings. She blatantly lied to the Senate as evidenced by the FBI’s report. And I have issues with the “I didn’t know better” as the Secretary of State. It’s her reasonability to know better. Back to Trump for a moment … help me understand how he’s racist when you say “Criticisms… Read more »
Tom, I’m sure you remember the classic movie, “The Fall of the Roman Empire”. When Livius (Stephen Boyd) finally figures it out at the end and when offered the throne gives his grim response to the Senator. That’s about where we are. You get rid of ten corrupt ones and a hundred take their place. How do you fix that? I don’t know.
For me this has next to nothing to do with our next president. Go back as many elections as you choose and you’ll find a similar laundry list of accusations, allegations, lies, wrong doing, and political BS. Dig below the surface and chances are you’d find enough to put any of them behind bars if that was what you were determined to do. But Donald Trump is the face of a virus that has been breeding in this country since its inception. He stands for the crimes we commit against equality every day. And he excuses those crimes by making… Read more »
I’m tired of ceding front pages of the news cycle to loud-mouthed extremists. This is my country, too! I was raised by my community to be decent, civil, thoughtful, and respectful to my fellow citizens. This voice matters. To me, this issue is not about politics — it’s about the future of our society. Viciousness may get attention, but it doesn’t build a society I want to leave for future generations. Donald Trump is a dangerous, unstable person. He’s unfit for the presidency.
