See two different ages come together in ‘Early Man’
I have been a fan of Nick Park for years. Ever since I saw The Wrong Trousers I have been hooked on his unique style. He has made many Wallace and Gromit shorts, a few films, and done a wonderful job with Shaun the Sheep. His newest movie Early Man is coming to Blu-Ray and it is his best work yet. I was able to get a review copy and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Early Man here:
Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures roamed the Earth, this film tells the story of courageous caveman hero Dug (Eddie Redmayne) and his best friend, Hognob, as they unite their tribe against a mighty enemy — Lord Nooth (Tom Hiddleston) and his Bronze Age City — to save their home.
I really liked Early Man. It has a great cast, tells a clever story, and has lots of funny moments. It was amazing how they found a way to bring these two very different ages together. The animation was breath taking and it was a joy to see these two worlds come to life. ‘Before the Beginning of Time: Creating Early Man’ did a splendid job of showing the process of making this film and some of the challenges that came up along the way.
