She says we’ve lost track of the difference between sexuality and sexulization—with pop culture worshiping expressions of sexuality it is a natural progression toward industries encouraging the sexualization of their stars.
Pop culture more and more sends the message that you have to be sexy to be famous, and however sex positive we want our culture to be is it worth asking the question, isn’t there another way?
