‘The Flash’ is out now in theaters
DC movies are hit or miss. Although I enjoyed Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman 1984 was a complete mess. I was excited to see Black Adam, but overall it was nothing more than an okay film. Shazam: Fury of the Gods was a lot of fun and did a great job telling the next chapter in that series. When I heard about The Flash, I hoped it might be a good movie. I was able to attend a screening for this film and this is my thoughts on it.

You can read the plot for The Flash here:
Worlds collide when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

The Flash gets 8/10. There is a good blend of comedy, drama, action and suspense in this film. We see a superhero make a drastic decision, and it causes some bad things to happen. To stop a powerful foe, they are going to need some help. Along the way the end up learning a few important lessons. There are also some great cameos, many that I never saw coming. Most people will have a great time watching this film.
