‘The Roses’ Is out now on Digital
It can be fun watching a comedy sometimes. When done right, they can have you laughing until it hurts and take you on a hilarious adventure. When I first heard about The Roses I will admit I didn’t know much about it. I was able to get a digital copy of this film and here is what I thought of it.

Life seems easy for picture-perfect couple Ivy (Colman) and Theo (Cumberbatch): successful careers, a loving marriage, great kids. But beneath the façade of their supposed ideal life, a storm is brewing – as Theo’s career nosedives while Ivy’s own ambitions take off, a tinderbox of fierce competition and hidden resentment ignites.

This was an okay film, but I can’t say it was amazing. The story is alright and has some good moments, but there are some scenes that drag the story down or harm it in different ways. The ending wasn’t as strong as it should have been and doesn’t do a great job of bringing this movie to a close. Some people might enjoy this film but it certainly won’t be for everyone.
