The Try Guys recreate famous photos of male celebrities and are photoshopped with their ideal body types.

Most men are insecure about some aspect of their bodies. “Growing up, I definitely didn’t look good. I looked like a nerd.” What is it for you: Your midsection? Your arms or chest? Your legs?
A lot of guys can identify with not feeling athletic: “I know I’m not big and muscular. I should have more masculine arms. Even my shadow could beat me up.”
Male body insecurity: We all have it. Many men admit that we don’t really like the way that we look. It is an expectation in our society to have this body that very few people can maintain. Be yourself, but have “the bod.”
You are supposed to have this “masculineness,” even if you are a clown.
In our society, the muscular Hollywood body is sought after and drives the billion-dollar male diet and fitness industry. Most of us feel that we are not muscular (aka not masculine) enough.
We compare ourselves to this person who is beautifully sculpted. Probably not the most healthy thing to do.
Loving yourself is the first step in improving your health and fitness. If you work out because you are unhappy with yourself, being in shape won’t make you happier.
I realize that I will always have a problem with how I look. Being so hyper critical with myself won’t translate into more confidence. If you have a problem with how you look that is way deeper problem than just changing how you look.
People won’t love you because of your abs…
People won’t remember you because you have six pack abs. They will remember you because you are a good person.

The perfect body is usually the one that we already have. We each have our flaws and we are happiest when we celebrate ourselves.

For me, I would like to work on my midsection. I’d love to have at least a two pack… but seeing the video reminds me that abs won’t make me feel happier. The perfect body is usually the one that we already have. We each have our flaws and we are happiest when we celebrate ourselves.
How about you? I would love to hear from you in the comments.
