I “lost my voice” for a while. Having three teenagers at once and a more-than-full-time job to finance their upbringing took most of my focus and energy. It was wicked hahhhhd, as we say here in Massachusetts.

Now my “baby” is about to leave his teens behind, and I’ve suddenly found myself on the other side of motherhood. It’s time to find my voice again.

I’ve learned a lot along the way, and now I'm going to share the stories. Some are about lessons from sports, recovery, and even my Gen X childhood. (My kids have no idea what it was like to watch black-and-white TV with only three channels.)

I’m glad to be writing again.
