I am a therapist by profession, which is actually a great career for writers because I get into people’s heads and hear stories that can seem too fantastic even for fiction. It’s also helpful in that it is my job to challenge how they perceive themselves and the world around them, not always an easy task! I have written over 25 articles for Medium and have self-published a non-fiction book on handling the emotional struggles many faced during the pandemic.
