Freedom from shame
Can look like blaming yourself
You are the one who agreed with those who wronged you
You are the one who replays their accusations inside your own heart
You were told you were less than
And you agreed
And you lived it out to prove it true
The more you seek destruction of your destroyers
The more you will become just like them
And you will be the one to fall into your trap
Into the scheme you made to behave like them
You have the power to believe for yourself
You have the power to determine what is true
Your bullies are not your God
You have Divine blessing to recognize your worth
Every day your write yourself a blank check
I have had it so bad I may behave as I wish
So much has been done wrong to me
Whatever wrong I lash out with will never compare
So what if that were true?
What good is it to you?
To bind yourself to your most hurtful moments
And blind yourself to the value others were blind to as well?
You must see that you are independent
Your exist in a far more expansive space than your pain
Love overcomes fear
Truth overcomes perception
And you have far fewer limits than you could ever know
It is no one’s role but your own
To be the person only you can be
Your bullies are not your God
You have Divine blessing to recognize your worth
Worth is not scarce
You don’t have to diminish anyone else
To lift up yourself
Comparison is failure
Your own world is your freedom
You don’t have to live how you have always lived
New is unknown
There is no comfortable
There is no familiar
But that can lead to the best peace you have ever known
Don’t be afraid
And the momentum will build
You will not be afraid and not be afraid
And not be afraid still
You don’t always have to know the solution
But you should realize what is not working
Go within
And you will change the world that is out
You’ve got this!
