Are we addicted to the chase of doing and accomplishing? Why is it so hard for us to take care of ourselves, and yet so easy and natural to take care of our work? Why do we feel forced to constantly “do”?
Love Yourself Madly! You deserve that love! The 18-year old who you were then and the adult you are today deserves every ounce of your love. I dare you to summon him or her back–bring back that passion, that aliveness, that boldness, that lightness, that freedom…that uninhibited you!
It is very powerful to turn off the voice that tries to hold you back–the voice that says you aren’t good enough. Love yourself so much that you go for whatever your heart is calling you to do or be. You are absolutely good enough!
We are all in the ring of life. Every day, with every decision we make, we have a choice. We get to choose whether we are coming from our soul or our ego, also known as “the opponent.”
What motivates one human being to bully another? What’s at the core of anyone thinking that they have the right to try to intimidate another? Are bullies actually sending out a strong message of their own weakness—their lack of inner strength and self-worth by preying on another?
Uncovering our Tikkun can be like going on a treasure hunt. When something is very painful and persistent in our lives, we can almost be sure that this is our Tikkun. While it may seem overwhelming at times, we are just as strong as our Tikkun!
In a year where “taking” has been a common theme making major headlines, how refreshing it would be to make 2018 a year of “giving.”
For me, chivalry is about going back to the basics of being courteous and considerate, being conscious of and attentive to others.
